How flatbed towing works
With flatbed towing, the entire vehicle is loaded onto the truck's deck so all four wheels are off the ground. Because the vehicle stays level for the whole trip, it is a good choice for vehicles that have been damaged, that don't roll properly, or that shouldn't be driven at all.
When flatbed towing makes sense
Flatbed towing is often the right call after a collision, when a vehicle is in an awkward position, or when a vehicle is being moved to a repair shop after significant damage.
